Saudi Arabia is interested in developing a uranium enrichment program as part of a drive to being a civilian atomic power industry, an adviser hired by Saudi Arabia to devise its nuclear strategy announce June 16th, 2010.
Riyadh is looking to be involved in every aspect of the atomic energy production process, "Enrichment could happen there and the same with mining uranium", David Cox said, adding that "outsourcing will happen initially."

The feasibility study would be finished in several months and provide comprehensive guidance on the economic, institutional and technical framework needed to being nuclear plant construction and uranium enrichment immediately.
